A three-day Education Conference to be held on October 8th – 10th will be focusing on Early childhood education, Literacy (Maori and English) and Numeracy.
The conference, organised by the Ministry of Education (MOE) will be held at the USP Rarotonga Campus, with the official ceremony to begin at 8am at the Sinai Hall.
This has come about following substantial compelling evidence to support the important of these three areas as having a positive impact in laying a solid foundation for formal schooling age.
The evolving 21st century dynamic has also prompted a change in the delivery of quality education; hence bringing together a field of expertise from the community, regional and international partners in education is imminent.
The conference is guided by the theme “Connecting locally and globally: Together we can help our learners live their dreams.”
It will hold keynote speakers from various regional and international renowned educationalists namely;
